Kevin Elijah Burgess, better known by his stage name KB, an American Christian hip-hop artist and music executive from St. Petersburg, Florida has unveiled his new book, ‘Dangerous Jesus’.The leader of the hip-hop group HGA talked about his Christian faith on Good Morning America’s GMA3 Faith Friday segment and spoke about his debut book ‘Dangerous Jesus’.During the interview, the show host asked about the provocative title of his new book. He particularly asked, “What do you mean when you say Jesus is dangerous?”KB explained by illustrating the image of a good athlete. He remarked that a good athlete is deemed a “dangerous athlete” to the opposing team in a game.“If you are a dangerous athlete, then that means you are a threat to the things that could cause us to lose,” he said. “And when I think about Jesus, He is the sum and substance of what it means to be dangerous in a positive sense..”Further, KB discussed one of the things he highlighted in his book, “Rethinking Jesus could revive our society.” The hip-hop artist explained the importance of Christians being the salt and light of the world.At first, he stressed how God redeems the lives of those far from hope and life. He also said he is a living testimony that God brought out from the darkness into a flourishing place.Then he pointed out Matthew 5 in the Scripture, where God’s people become the salt in this world.
