Gospel Tracts to Be Handed Out at King Charles’ Coronation

By Church News

In less than five months, on May 6, 2023, a British monarch, the new King of England will be coronated and Answers in Genesis (AIG) US and AiG–UK are teaming up with the Living Waters ministry for “Operation London” to distribute gospel tracts. The goal of Operation London is to distribute three million custom commemorative tracts to the throngs of visitors in London in early May.The aim of the organisation is that millions of people will read these tracts and those handing them out will be able to have many gospel conversations with people from all over the UK and worldwide.Additionally, the Living Waters ministry will be producing an “Operation London” episode for the Way of the Master TV program (which airs in over 190 countries) and for their YouTube channel, as well as hosting a free online “Operation London” conference with Ray Comfort, Ken Ham, and the Living Waters team. This conference will be broadcasted from California to further encourage and equip attendees in sharing their faith before the outreach officially begins.Ray Comfort is a New Zealand-born Christian minister and evangelist who lives in the United States. Comfort started Living Waters Publications, as well as the ministry The Way of the Master, in Bellflower, California, and has written several books.“He will publicly make an oath before God to defend the church of England,” Comfort said in a promotional video. “This will be done in England’s most famous church [Westminster Abbey], witnessed by hundreds of millions around the world. In other words, the world is going to church. We’ll all join in a service about Jesus, God and the Bible.”King Charles “will lay his right hand on the Bible and swear before God to uphold the Scriptures,” Comfort said.“He’ll hold the royal sceptre as Solomon held the royal sceptre. And when he’s crowned, as was Solomon, all the people will cry, ‘God save the king,'” Comfort said. “And then he’ll be anointed with oil symbolic of the Holy Spirit coming upon him. And all of this will be done in the name of Jesus. And the secular media will be forced to explain the symbolism. This is a massive and unprecedented opportunity to reach millions with the gospel. And the media is not going to ignore the service because they know this world’s insatiable appetite for anything royal.”ALSO READ Church Organist Gets Surprise Visit From Prince Charles
